First summer was a test
The summer started nice, warm, the car run nice etc etc
First of all, get the DR license, then do some tuning, and last one real competition which ended with a blown engine....
Must say that until the engine blow, I was very pleased with the car. Took the car to work a couple of times as well (and one night race, hush-hush :-)
During my second last run (semi final at Tullinge), "something" happend....
A rotade piston took out a cylinder wall, or if it was the cylinder wall that gave after and made the piston to rotate. Nobody will know for sure.
Result was a totally wasted block, one rod broken, and one piston in pieces. Also the head took some damage with one valve broken in pieces, one rocker smashed etc...
But it was clearly just a matter of time until the engine was going to brake. The cylinder walls where paper thin (eaten from rust from the inside)
